- Giving out Recovery Chips or Tokens is a great idea.
- An ongoing weekly or bi-weekly aftercare group is ideal
- In the case of long distance clients, schedule online chat/telephone consultations to review difficulties first noted in the Nongard Relapse Prevention Checklist, and assist in meeting specific client needs.

V.) IMPLEMENTING QUITSUCCESS® IN
INDIVIDUAL
TOBACCO CESSATION PROGRAM SETTINGS:
Individual Cessation sessions run essentially the same as the Group plan, but instead of all day events, you might schedule a 1-3 hour therapy/training or consulting session two or three days in a row, beginning the day before their Quit date.
Have the client complete a fairly structured daily regimen for Day 1 and Day 2, involving scheduled time to:
- Meet with you, their QuitSuccess® Program Facilitator
- View the Day 1 and Day 2 DVDs
- Listen to the Relaxation CD
- Complete all reading and workbook assignments
- Perhaps schedule a morning and afternoon session (or at least contact the client both in the morning and evening on Day 1 and Day 2 via phone/email/chat to encourage, guide and assist in staying tobacco free.
You are their cheerleader!
- Schedule relapse prevention meetings for 3-7 days following Day 2.
- Refering to allied professionals including a personal trainer, therapist and/or a support group is highly recommended with individuals.

VI.) REWARDS PROGRAM:
You may or may not wish to create and implement a referral rewards program.
1.) In a relapse prevention meeting, ask for contact info of friends who could benefit, and follow up by sending a postcard.
2.) Give your clients your business cards.
3.) Remind them of your Rewards Program, such as a discount on future group or individual recovery sessions, etc.
